Haughton House Holiday Park has two sister parks,Cullen Bay Holiday Park The proprietors of all three parks are husband and wife team Hugh and Debbie Ballantyne, who took the helm at Haughton House in March 2012. Prior to 2012, Aberdeenshire Council operated the holiday park at Alford. Hugh and Debbie encourage a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere where guests enjoy a barbecue, take a round of putting or go for a quiet stroll along the River Don, which is especially popular with fishermen and canoeists. But for the ultimate in relaxation, there’s no need to leave the park; just sit back and enjoy the quiet life – and the wildlife, which here at Haughton includes red squirrels, rabbits, numerous bird species… and even polecats!
